Aid agencies, NGO’s are being ousted for their role as agents of Western financial capital at any cost who feed of the misery caused by their masters. Christian Aid is one such example. Following the 2004 coup against President Aristide of Haiti, Christian Aid issued a position statement in which it colluded with the lies of the USFrance that Aristide resigned when in fact he was kidnapped and dumped in the Central African Republic.

I was born in 1984 in Nairobi’s South C's Matter Hospital on a Wednesday night. Two years later my family moved to Buru Buru estate where I spent most of my life. This is where it all started. As long as I can remember, I grew up to the love of breakdancing, wearing shiny suits and "bubble gummers" and silly haircuts but the competition was real.

Who is Uru?

Uru, born in the eastern region of Nigeria is a native of Imo state. As an infant, her family moved to America where she was raised until age 7. Her family then returned to Nigeria. There she finished her elementary and secondary school education. Uru then returned to America as an adult to study political science and fine arts in university. She decided afterwards to pursue music full on. Determined to succeed, she taught herself how to play piano, write her own music and lyrics, and sing.
